History of the Medallic Art Company

So, the establishing milestones for Medallic Art Company are the creation of dies for the Longfellow Centennial in 1907 and the purchase of assets from Deitsch Brothers in 1910.

By 1918, Felix had closed up the sculpture studio he was running with his long-time friend Jules Edouard Roine’ and joined Henri full time.

Knowing they did not have the capital to expand nor the business expertise they needed, the Weil brothers embarked on a search for both.

They ended up forming a new partnership with Clyde C. Trees, a businessman from Indiana.
